Chantaille (née Ray) Buczynski is the sole author and content creator for the Canadian based independent blog Women’s Whisky World (TM), established in 2019.
Chantaille was featured on Belfast Whiskey Week as an expert on terroir in whisky (Cole’s Notes version: we need to build a larger bank of scientific data before we can conclusively determine whether there is or is not terroir in whisky). She has interviewed the maker of Johnnie Walker Blue. She holds a BSc in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Victoria. She served in Canada’s Navy as a Commissioned Officer for 18 years and upon retirement commenced the blog. Chantaille is passionate about all things whisky: reviews; The Informal and Just For Fun Book Club, an international online whisky book club that you can join @funwhiskybookclub; custom cocktails and paired custom recipes that you can cook at home as part of her “Cooking Using Whisky with Chantaille” tutorial cooking series.
